Jongpil Lee is a music technology expert and co-founder of Neutune. His research interest is large-scale deep learning for music search. During his PhD study at KAIST, he presented tutorials in 2019 and 2020 at International Society for Music Information Retrieval (ISMIR), the world’s leading academic society in music technology. He also completed an internship at Adobe Research and worked as a visiting researcher at New York University on related topics. Seungsoon Park is an electronic music composer (a.k.a. Radiophonics), cross media artist, and co-founder of Neutune. His representative work “NeuroScape” is an artificial intelligence soundscape system developed with Jongpil Lee in 2017. He has participated in the International Computer Music Conference (ICMC), Ars Electronica Future Innovator Summit, and the SXSW Festival. He is also an adjunct professor at the Korea National University of Arts, and co-founder of the electronic music label IDEAN since 2010. Sangeun Keum is a research scientist and co-founder of the Neutune. In 2021, he received his PhD in Graduate School of Culture Technology from KAIST. He conducted research on melody extraction and singing voice detection. His research interest includes semi-supervised learning and similarity search based on musical features. Keunhyoung Kim is an MIR researcher and AI media artist, and co-founder of Neutune. His main research area through his PhD was singing voice characteristics analysis and deep learning. He is also interested in musical instrument timbre and deep generative music. As a member of Slitscope, a AI media art group, his main pieces are "I Question" and "MADI (MDN-based Artificial Dancing Intelligence)".
Taewan Kim is a design researcher and co-founder of Neutune. He has built his career in Hyundai Group, UX agencies and AI-tech startup. He, as a multidisciplinary designer specializing in User Experience & AI Product Design, sought the possibilities for an advanced design process that would change with AI during his MS study at KAIST. He also exhibited his media art work in Inter-Society for the Electronic Arts (ISEA) and serves as an instructor at Kookmin Graduate School of Design.
Wonil Kim is a music producer, sound designer, and research scientist. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electronic Production & Sound Design and Video Game Scoring from Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has extensive experience working as a composer and sound designer in various fields. During his master's degree at KAIST, he presented his research at various academic conferences, including AES, ICASSP, ISMIR and ISEA. Taejun Kim dedicates his life to aesthetic music listening experience, as a software engineer, research scientist, underground DJ (a.k.a Aco) and co-founder of Neutune. Juhan Nam is an associate professor of the Graduate School of Culture Technology at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
